ABOUT
Welcome to Zendrawn. Zendrawn Mindful Drawing is a creative practice that combines abstract patterns and mindful colouring techniques to help individuals focus, relax, and engage in mild meditation and concentration. The practice is designed to bring a sense of calm and mindfulness, especially during stressful situations.
The concept of Zendrawn originated from the founder, who began doodling as a teenager. These doodles served as her unconscious way of managing anxiety and stress, providing her with a method to channel her emotions and calm her mind. Over time, this method evolved and became a tool for self-regulation and stress relief.
In more recent years, she has used zendrawn mindful drawing as a technique used to support mental health and emotional well-being. The act of drawing over grey-scale pattern designs, encourages concentration and focus, allowing individuals to step away from the chaos of their thoughts. By adding color to these patterns, participants are able to further engage with the activity, creating a calming and grounding effect that can improve emotional resilience and mental clarity.
